In today's fast-paced world, the influence of modern technology on children's development is a topic that every responsible parent should reflect upon. The intellectual growth of children through new technologies can often stifle their sense of aesthetics and spiritual awareness. This observation raises a crucial question: why is it important not to fuel the perpetual drama between parents and children? This ongoing conflict drains the energy of children and dilutes the love that parents seek to offer.

Instead of seeking agreement or compliance from children, parents should strive for a simple and honest partnership with them. Though this might sound idealistic, it is one of the foundational principles of a meaningful family and educational life, especially when built upon solid values.

However, in today's modern life, many factors push the development of children and family relationships in opposite directions. This dissonance stems from misplaced and poorly prioritized goals, which inevitably bear bitter fruit. For this reason, it is crucial to understand that every daily struggle against inertia and rigid behavioral patterns is worth the effort. The cost of passivity can lead to significant shifts in how children perceive the world and live their lives. Harmful habits, such as complete dependency on technology and the uncritical acceptance of educational stereotypes, pave the way for a loss of sensitivity to self-awareness and spiritual growth.

During the first seven years of life, a child's development should be guided through imitation and example. At this stage, children learn best by observing the actions of adults and repeating what they see. It is, therefore, essential that the primary methods of upbringing remain in the hands of parents rather than being entirely delegated to conventional schools, where individuality is often suppressed, and children are molded to fit predefined educational policies.

Between the ages of seven and fourteen, parents should focus on nurturing the child's soul, fostering a love for the surrounding world, nature, chosen communities, imagination, and inner life through aesthetic education.

It is only after the age of fourteen that intellectual development becomes a priority, as children are then ready to engage in abstract thinking and independent judgment. This is precisely where modern society faces one of its greatest risks. The widespread use of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and conventional media leads to the premature development of intellectual abilities. As a result, children's aesthetic and spiritual sensitivities are often overshadowed, limiting their capacity for a deeper.

While technology offers many advantages, it is vital for parents to maintain a balanced approach. A conscious effort to foster spiritual and aesthetic development in children, especially in the early years, will ensure they grow into well-rounded individuals with a healthy connection to themselves and the world.
