Beinsa Douno, known for his deep spiritual teachings, placed significant emphasis on the healing power of water. According to his guidance, drinking hot water plays a crucial role in maintaining a healthy digestive system. Just as we use hot water to clean dishes, it is also essential for dissolving fats and residues from the stomach and intestines, improving digestion. He recommended drinking a glass of hot water three times a day—morning, noon, and evening—before meals as a necessary internal cleansing ritual.Douno also advised avoiding cold water, especially during meals or immediately after eating. He emphasized that water should be sipped slowly, ideally 40-50 minutes after a meal, to support proper digestion and avoid unnecessary strain on the stomach.
Furthermore, Douno suggested using hot water as a natural remedy for fevers and colds. Instead of turning to conventional medicines like quinine, he recommended fasting and drinking only hot water for three days to allow the body to naturally overcome fever and colds. This method also applies to flu treatment.
For those suffering from emotional agitation or nervous tension, Douno suggested cold showers. He believed that cold water helps release excess energy from the body, bringing calm and balance, especially for those prone to anger. Six cold showers a year, with water temperatures above ten degrees Celsius, were suggested to help control temper and restore harmony.
Beinsa Douno also highlighted the importance of conscious water consumption. He encouraged drinking water with intention and awareness, believing that each sip could target areas in need of healing within the body. Drinking water, in his view, should be combined with faith, as faith, together with the warmth of the water, has the power to bring about healing.
Rainwater, particularly during the period from March 9 to September 9, held special significance in Douno's teachings. He believed that each raindrop during this time was filled with magnetism, comparable in value to an English pound, carrying abundant life energy.
For holistic healing, Douno advocated for using pure mountain water charged with positive thoughts and energies. He suggested that individuals visualize themselves filling water with energies of faith, compassion, and love before drinking it, a practice that he claimed enhances the water's healing properties. A spoonful of such water, taken three times daily, could serve as a powerful remedy, provided it was consumed with faith and intention.
Beinsa Douno’s methods offer a profound, holistic approach to health, emphasizing the importance of mindful practices and the natural power of water in promoting physical and spiritual well-being.
