When Love in a person is blind – and here we are speaking in relation to evil and to mistakes – it means that one does not see the faults of others or the faults of the world. It is “blind” in the sense that it sees only the Divine. For Love itself is never blind; the expression is used here in a different sense. And when this happens, a person is filled with life. By contrast, anyone whose eyes have been opened to the world, who likes to observe evil and to say, “This is evil,” actually affirms it. Such a person has lost something very precious in life. Why? Because one who lives in Love has no need to see anything other than the Divine, the hand of God everywhere.Love lives entirely in God. Love sees only God – neither the world, nor evil, nor the shortcomings of others, nor their weaknesses. It does not occupy itself with these things, because to dwell upon them means to become stained by them.
If you think for a long time about another person’s shortcomings, if for years you keep repeating that someone is a bad person, this will leave an imprint upon you. To a greater or lesser degree, you too will become soiled by it.
Aspiration saves a person from ambition. Ambitions belong to the laws of the mind and the ego. Whenever you sense ambition arising somewhere, know that you are on the wrong path.
The Master says that inspiration saves a person from their aspirations. And Peace saves a person from inspiration. Here we are speaking of the deepest degree of inner Peace, of merging with God, with Universal Oneness. Whoever has completely renounced evil has acquired the ability to seek the Truth. And then the Master Beinsa Douno says:
Whoever has acquired the ability to seek the Truth will never find it. This is their greatest reward.
I will explain this briefly, so that no one is left confused.
They will never find it, and this is their greatest reward. Put in another way, it means this:
Whoever eternally seeks the Truth will eternally become more divine.
Such a person will become increasingly divine, on ever higher levels, and this process of becoming divine will have no end. Their fullness will continually attain a new fullness, new qualities of inspiration, serenity, patience and Love. All of these will continue to grow.
But if a person has ceased striving toward the Truth, they are already dead. When there is no aspiration, you may still see such a person walking and moving through the world, but the Master says: these are moving graves. Those who have ceased striving toward the Truth are moving graves.
The ideas and aspirations by which we live today will determine our future.
